Mandeep plays tabla on the songs ‘My Blind Goat’ and ‘Primal-Digital’ on the album. Releasing the album exclusively on Mandeep’s Toyota Camry stereo, may have seemed ridiculously limiting, but in February 2016, it made a lot of sense amidst the cascade of endlessly new releases streamed online. Noisey were first to break the story. Peruse the article here.
The media got rather excited, as the video above from the ad agency JWT attests. Mandeep even picked up a steady flow of new business, to boot.
To this day, if you're in Auckland, do give call Mandeep on +64272169287 and book a ride in his taxi to hear the album. He’ll only be too pleased to take you to the best listening spots in the city, to bring to life the themes and feels in the recording.

Do - a rapid-prototype recorded at home on the iPhone on Thursday, shot on Auckland's Queen Street on Saturday, edited in a hotel in Sydney on Wednesday. Love and thanks Willa, Jon, Isla, Jasper, Huia, Carmen, Iris and all the fine characters who showed up to play on the day.
